These workshops offer hands-on arts-and-crafts classes to the White Mountain community at an affordable price, with a purpose that extends beyond the project. Every class is designed around expression, meaning, and the kind of creative experience that activates neural pathways connected to reward, focus, flow, and identity. These creative projects light up your imagination, problem-solving skills, and sense of self. Plus, it's fun too!

Each class is a standalone experience. Come to one or come to all. New classes are added as the series grows, so check back often.

All classes are open to adults 18 and older. Each session requires a separate registration and includes a materials fee. Click the button for the class you want to attend.

Values Board, Not a Vision Board | Mixed Media Art Class | June 20, 2026

June 20, 2026 | 1:00 to 3:00 PM | White Mountain Community Center at 1594 Johnson Dr., Lakeside, AZ 🎨 This is not a vision board... it's a Values Board. In this two-hour workshop, you'll go deeper than images and inspiration by eliciting your Values, the deepest level of personal programming, and building a Values Board that actually means something. Using mixed media materials including canvas, paint, magazines, and found imagery, you'll create a one-of-a-kind piece you can continue to add to and evolve throughout your life. Sponsored by Adobe Express, participants also design a digital version of their Values Board ready to print, display, or set as a phone wallpaper. No prior art or design experience needed. You leave with your Values list, a handmade art piece, and a digital board.

Meet Your Instructor | Jennifer Priest

 Jennifer Priest sold her first handmade creation at a craft fair at age nine. Over 20 years of professional experience in the arts and crafts industry later, she has worked with some of the biggest names in the craft world as a professional influencer, educator, and Adobe Express Ambassador, bringing real creative experience into every class she teaches.

What makes these workshops different is the layer underneath the art. Jennifer is also an NLP Trainer, Certified Hypnotherapist, and Practitioner of Huna, and she designs every class to work with you at both the conscious and unconscious levels simultaneously. You are making something with your hands and doing something with your mind. That combination creates experiences with serious intention!

She started Smart Fun DIY to share smart, fun ways to get the most out of life and has been inspiring makers and everyday creatives ever since. Her philosophy is simple: always be curious for opportunity.
